The Bloomington Parks Foundation is happy to announce that the Double Market Bucks Program of the Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market is now beginning it’s 3rd year!
Members of our community who receive food assistance funds, also known as SNAP money, will continue to get a match that doubles their dollars to use at the Farmers’ Market, up to an $18 match. In 2014, over $20,000 was matched!
The Bloomington Parks Foundation knows that providing this matching money is an important way to encourage healthy choices and access to local food available for sale at the Farmers’ Market. Thanks to all who support this valuable community effort!
