Bloomington Tree Fund

Gifts to the Bloomington Tree Fund support the Bloomington Parks & Recreation Department’s Urban Forestry program, which provides trees and landscaping amenities throughout the city’s parks and public properties, including street trees. Contributions to the Bloomington Tree Fund are used to plant new trees as well as to protect mature trees. The Bloomington Tree Fund also supports annual Arbor Day celebrations, volunteer tree plantings on public property, and urban forestry education. Any amount may be contributed at any time to the Bloomington Tree Fund. All Bloomington Tree Fund gifts are tax deductible as prescribed by law.

Downtown Square Tree Campaign

The Bloomington Parks Foundation is pleased to present the Downtown Square Tree Campaign in partnership with the Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department, to remove dying trees in the public right-of-way surrounding the courthouse square, and replace them with healthy new trees.
Trees benefit our downtown in many ways. Not only do they provide shade and aesthetic beauty, they are a living, breathing testament to the value Bloomington places on the environment, downtown business, and the historic nature of the downtown square.

By supporting the Downtown Square Tree Campaign with the sponsorship of a downtown tree, you demonstrate your commitment to a green and growing downtown Bloomington!
