The Bloomington Parks Foundation’s annual golf scramble raises funds to provide scholarships for positive, life-changing experiences for youth!
A day of golf gives Bloomington-area children the opportunity to attend a week of the First Tee of Bloomington golf camp at Cascades Golf Course, two weeks of swimming lessons at Bryan Park Pool, or a season on a Bloomington Youth Basketball team!

The 33rd Annual Don Brineman Memorial Golf Scramble was held Aug. 27, 2025 at Cascades Golf Course in Bloomington. Proceeds from the scramble benefit scholarships for youth to participate in the many programs and activities offered by Bloomington Parks and Recreation.
The Foundation was pleased to welcome IU Men’s Golf Team members Cole Starnes and Ethan Chelf, who for a donation to the scholarship fund, played various holes on behalf of participating teams. Thank you Cole and Ethan for your support!
A total of 17 teams participated in glorious fall-like weather. Prizes were awarded for longest putt and closest to the pin, as well as door prizes for items in the Cascades Golf Course pro shop. Silent auction recipients won VIP experiences at upcoming IU football and basketball games.
