2014 Golf Scramble brochure
The 22nd Annual Don Brineman Memorial Golf Scramble takes place Wednesday, August 27th, 2014 to benefit our Olcott Scholarship Fund. The tournament kicks off at Cascades Golf Course Clubhouse at 11:30am with lunch followed by a shotgun start at 1pm. At 4:30pm we host our 19th Hole Hospitality.
Please join us for a fun-filled afternoon! Also, please consider sponsoring a hole to help ensure the success of the event and change lives for our community’s youth-in-need.
The scramble has fulfills a nice niche in the local golf scramble scene by hosting foursomes for a lunch and afternoon golf scramble. ”I like the fact that I can come out for lunch, enjoy some golf with friends, help a good cause and be done by 5 or 6pm,” said one long-time participant. A 19th Hole reception follows the scramble with beverages, edibles and laughs.
Proceeds from the scramble benefit the Bloomington Parks Foundation’s Olcott Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to our community’s youth-in-need to attend Bloomington Parks and Recreation programs and summer camps. This tournament helps the Foundation provide $20,000+ in scholarships to children and offers kids the opportunity to have positive, and in some cases, life-changing experiences.
